The Skyliners Big Band is based in Barrie and its members hail from Barrie and the surrounding area. Under the musical direction of Ron Robbins, the band has been pleasing audiences of all ages for over 16 years throughout Simcoe County.

Featuring the vocal styling of Maria Branje, the Skyliners Big Band will showcase the hits of Duke Ellington, Glen Miller, Count Basie, Woody Herman and many more.

The Skyliners Big Band guarantees to get you "In the Mood" for a night of "Stompin' at the Savoy" while you "Take the A Train".

Coldjack, a New Music award winner, is a Canadian break-out band from Barrie, Ontario, featuring original material that is an energetic fusion of jazz/funk and pop. Their live performances include smooth vocals, exciting horn lines, soaring guitar, and funky grooves.

Originally from England, John Fraser, the lead singer/songwriter, headlined the original Coldjack band in the U.K. in the 1990s. He has performed in some of London's top music venues such as the famous Rock Garden and The Mean Fiddler. Two years ago, he re-formed Coldjack, reviving the original songs from his England days and adding new material.


Together, Coldjack and the Skyliners Big Band will have you dancing all night in the Jazz 2 Funk show.
